Union strength and solidarity
The issue: Members want a union culture that brings people together, restores confidence, and makes it unmistakably clear that every member and every facility matters and will be heard.
The direction: Dre’s focus is on rebuilding trust, strengthening internal unity, and making sure the Southwest Region is known for serious representation, member engagement, and a labor voice that commands respect.
Transparency and communication
The issue: Members deserve timely information, candid communication, and leadership that stays visible when questions are difficult and stakes are high.
The direction: Dre is committed to a culture of openness that keeps members informed, answers concerns directly, and treats communication as a core responsibility of all NATCA membership and his leadership.
Pay and economic security
The issue: Controllers across the region are feeling the strain of rising costs and delayed earned compensation, while pay has fallen behind inflation and the cost of supporting their families.
The direction: Dre will seize every opportunity to push for fair pay, timely implementation of earned raises, and modern compensation that reflects the value controllers bring every day.
